Digestive Enzymes with Lipase
Digestive Enzymes with Lipase
No pick
The evidence that healthy people need extra digestive enzymes is thin, so we would rather not push you towards a product. Slow the increase in fat first, and see a doctor if discomfort lasts.

Moving to a high fat plate overnight is a big change for digestion, and some people feel heavy after meals in the first weeks. Lipase is the enzyme that breaks down fat, which is why keto blends lead with it.
What to look for
- Lipase listed with its activity units, not just a weight in milligrams
- Protease and amylase alongside for a general purpose blend
- Ox bile in some formulas, which is worth knowing if you avoid animal products
- Third party testing and a clear list of what is in the capsule
Good to know
General wellness information only, not medical advice. Many people need nothing once their body has adjusted, and discomfort that lasts is a reason to see a doctor rather than to add more capsules.

The catch
The evidence that healthy people need extra enzymes is thin. Most digestive complaints in the first weeks settle on their own, so try a slower increase in fat before spending money here.
