MCT oil dried onto a fibre carrier, which makes it creamy in coffee and far easier to travel with than a bottle of oil. Many people also find it gentler on the stomach.
What to look for
- Acacia fibre as the carrier rather than maltodextrin or corn fibre
- C8 or a C8 and C10 blend stated on the label
- Unflavoured if you want it for cooking as well as coffee
- Zero sugar, and no sodium caseinate if you avoid dairy
How to use it
Start with half a scoop in coffee or a shake and build up over a week. It replaces creamer nicely, and a small tub fits in hand luggage where a bottle of oil would not.

The catch
You pay for the carrier as well as the oil, so the cost per gram of MCT is much higher than a bottle. Check the label, since some powders are a third filler.
